Vertical Technique
For many of our breast lift patients, the vertical incision is the best choice. Using this technique, the surgeon makes an incision that encircles the areola, then descends in a vertical line along the underside of the breast. The excess skin is removed and, in some cases, enlarged areolas are reduced. The remaining tissue and the nipples are repositioned to create elevated, firmer, rounder breasts.
Inverted T Technique
A significant degree of sagging may require the "inverted T" incision for maximum lifting and reshaping. This approach adds a horizontal incision along the breast fold to the vertical and areolar incisions. This allows the surgeon to remove more tissue and skin, and to elevate the nipples and the breasts to a greater degree.

Recovery and Results
Our breast lift patients are often surprised at how quick and comfortable their recovery is. Most patients return to their everyday routine (minus vigorous exercise) within a week or less. We use dissolving sutures for your convenience and comfort, and most patients find only a limited need for pain control medication.
