We encourage patients and prospective patients to communicate with us and each other by using the library on this page. The library provides a means for patients to discuss their plastic surgery experiences. As you explore this page you will note there are folders for new patients to download forms, information about specific procedures, patient testimonials and satisfaction surveys.

During the business week, Plastic Surgery Services of Fredericksburg will routinely monitor the content and respond to inquiries as needed.

Any specific patient related concerns should be addressed with the physician or his nurse directly. Do not hesitate to call our office, (540)371-7730, if you have any questions about your procedure. If it is necessary for you to contact the physician after 5 p.m., when the office is closed or on a weekend, please call the office and tell the answering service to page your physician. If the patient is experiencing a life threatening emergency call 911!

What is the Library?

Sometimes called a bulletin board or message board, our library is an online center for ongoing, indepth discussions of specific topics and issues. This message board provides patients and prospective patients with a means to share ideas, suggestions, and recommendations concerning services they have received or wish to discuss.

Please note that the library is not a "chat room." That is, users cannot participate in real-time discussions. However, users can ask and respond to questions, explain service techniques and strategies, share helpful anecdotes, and lend their expertise to others in the field.

How is a discussion organized?

Individual messages are organized by topic. A discussion (also known as a "thread") is a series of messages along a specific topic of conversation. Each discussion begins with a comment or question that elicits feedback from others. By reading each post—that is, each individual message—in a discussion, you can see how it has evolved.

The topics listed on the library page are currently open for comment. Select one of them to view the directory of active discussions within that topic.

Who can participate?

This is a discussion board that requires a login registration for users.

Is the library moderated?

This library is moderated in the sense that a moderator will participate in conversations as necessary and posts are screened before they are uploaded. Therefore, participants who submit messages will not immediately see them on the board. Messages that are accepted for discussion will be posted within 3 business day of submission.
